Hushtrove vs Keepsafe

Updated · By THEORIST LLC, the company that makes Hushtrove

The main differences are the account, the data collection and where backups go. Keepsafe asks for a name and verified email, backs up to its own cloud, and its App Store privacy label lists usage data that may be used to track you S1 S2 S3. Hushtrove has no account, its label is Data Not Collected, and backup is optional, to your own iCloud, encrypted on the iPhone first. Keepsafe runs on Android and iPhone; Hushtrove is iPhone only.

Hushtrove is our app. Everything about Keepsafe below comes from Keepsafe's own App Store page, help center and website, read on 2026-10-28 and linked under Sources. Where Keepsafe doesn't say something, we write "not stated" rather than guess.

  3. Empty Photos › Recently Deleted, or the copies stay there for 30 days S8.
  4. Check everything opens in Hushtrove before you delete anything from Keepsafe.
  5. Deleting the Keepsafe app doesn't cancel a Premium subscription; Keepsafe says you must cancel it in your Apple Account S4.
